Tootsie's 13th B-Day!

On Saturday we celebrated my Canine Sister, Tootsie's 13th Birthday! Since she doesn't like a lot of fuss, we just did a small family party.

Here's a picture of the fabulous cake that Tracey, of Bella Dog Bakery, made. It is an apple cinnamon cake with yogurt frosting.

Haircut

Last night Mommy gave my sister, Tootsie, a haircut. Her hair was hanging in her face, so Mommy thought she'd trim her face. Mommy asked if I wanted a haircut too. NO WAY! I think I look pretty handsome the way I am.

Tootsie was really happy she could see again. But since Mommy went kinda crazy with the scissors, Tootsie had to check and see if her nose was still there.

Yep, still there. Okay Mommy, I think you should let the professionals do it next time.

Workin' on the Weekend

Guess what?! Bella Dog Bakery in Southport/Indy area is a new sponsor for KPR. On Saturday Mommy and I were there getting the word out about KPR. We talked to a lady who is looking to adopt a sibling for her Pug. And we talked to another lady who is interested in being a foster.

After working hard for KPR, Mommy and Daddy took me on a hike with them at Griffy Lake. Here's a picture Mommy took of Daddy and I posing by the limestone ridden lake.

Sunny Walk

Since we finally had a nice sunny day, yesterday; Mommy took me on a walk. We walked 3 miles! I loved all the smells, the people, the other dogs that I crazily peed on everything I could. Mommy said I started peeing dust.

Easter Photo Shoot

Guess what everyone! I was in my first photo shoot! They had the white paper, the two umbrella lights, and Mr. Mark was flashing his camera non-stop while Miss Carole was squeezing this stupid squeaky toy. I did have to wear stupid pink bunny ears, though. :( Mommy took me to London Dog, here in B-ton, for Easter photos. She's going to hang the 5X7 in my room, and put a 4X6 in her office. She got an extra 4X6 in case my Grampy or Aunt Kati will take one. (They think my Mommy is too crazy over me.) Mommy didn't know, but I was peeking at the things she bought. She got me stuff for my Easter basket! :)

Catch-Up

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. My Mommy and Daddy left Friday to go up to Michigan for my Mammy's Michigan funeral. While they were gone, I stayed home. I was so happy I didn't have to go to a kennel. Mommy found a lady to take care of us. Miss Amanda came by the house three times a day. She even took me back to her house to have a playdate with her two pugs. Mommy asked her to take pictures and email them to her...but we haven't seen any yet. :( Since we missed out on Pug Meet-Up, Mommy made me a special treat. It has carob, bran flakes, skim milk, honey, and vanilla. Mmmmm!
