Happy Birthday Mommy!

I would like to wish my Mommy a big Happy Birthday today! She is now 28 (I can say that since she says she's not old yet). My Daddy said she's sad and is having a crappy birthday, because her friends are fighting. So when she gets home from work, I'm going to offer her some of my favorite biscuits, give her lots of licks and sneezes, and try to not throw up any hairballs (I like to lick the carpet and rugs). I also want to give her some warm and fuzzies by sharing some of my fave pics of us.

Blogger Party Weekend

Hey Guys,

So my Mom and I finally figured things out. Like the new header picture? So I think we're on a technology roll, because we managed to get all the pictures from this last weekend uploaded onto snapfish, a new online photo album thing that she signed up for. She took over 200 pictures! There were several that she ended up deleting, because they didn't turn out (weird lighting).

What an awesome weekend! Salinger and Pugsley finally tied the knot in a memorable ceremony performed by the Rev Sarah (Hank & Molly's Mom). We did a big play date in the park at Indy Pug Meet-Up. And we went to a big bash afterwards at the Pug Posse house. It was so wonderful meeting and spending time with all our out of state blogger buddies!!!

* I'm not able to do a whole big post about the weekend right now, but I want to at least get the web link on here so that people can view the pictures and save the ones they want.

* (Mom here) - These are edited links. The first time I posted with an invalid link (I thought I could just copy and paste the web link from my main page [thanks for the correction Punchy]. But I finally figured out how to generate a link for people to view the picture albums, although it has to be a separate link for each individual album. So hopefully this works now.

Need Technical Help

Sorry guys about not getting the new posts going. My Mommy is SO technically challenged! She keeps getting these error messages everytime she clicks on something.

Service Unavailable
Error 503

AND, she can't figure out how to shrink the title picture down. She's tried using different pics, but they all stretch out like this (yet they look fine as jpg in her picture folders).

She's spending so much time trying to figure all this out, that she hasn't had time to actually help me blog! And I'm no help since I don't have thumbs. *Sigh

Coming Soon!

So my blogging stopped last year due to being too busy, and then the final straw was complications by the new updates to the website. I'm still busy a shakin' and a movin' but am going to give it another go. I've tried to keep up with reading my friends' blogs the best I can (have done better at reading others than doing my own), so hopefully I'm not too far out of the loop. So stay tuned - a new post, WITH PICS, coming soon...

NOT a Wordless Wednesday

Wow, there's so much to catch up on, I don't know where to begin.  This post would be too long if I started at the beginning.  So let's start with the most recent holiday - Halloween.

I went to London Dog's Yappy Hour for the costume contest.  Mommy made me be a stupid monkey - and a regular one at that (could've at least been a flying monkey).  Here are a couple pictures of me and my monkey costume.

I did win a stuffed doggy!  It made the dressing up worth it.

Mommy had a Halloween party at work.  I wasn't allowed to attend.  :(  But Mommy did show me the veggie skeleton she made.  How cool is that?  Mommy dressed up as an Angel and Daddy a Devil.  Daddy said "Talk about a role reversal?"  I'm not sure what that means....but Mommy slapped Daddy after he said that.

Stay tuned for my next post of Harry's Visit to Indy!

I'm Alive

Hey Friends,

I'm so sorry it's been FOREVER since I've blogged! Things have been so CRAZY! Mommy and Daddy got married. My Grandpa (Mom's Dad) was in the hospital for awhile to have surgery and then emergency surgery and then long recovery. Mommy stayed by his side the WHOLE time! She felt bad for neglecting me, but I understood. My Mommy's close friend had TWINS a month early, so Mommy has been MAJORLY busy with helping her. And then my Aunt Kati (Mom's sister) got married. Since Mommy was the Matron of Honor and it was a high society wedding and their (Mommy and Aunt Kati's) Mom died recently so she couldn't help which is why Mommy had to help more; it kept her EXTREMELY busy. And then my canine sister, Tootsie, got diagnosed with lymphoma (more to come on that). And I suffered ANOTHER eye injury (more to come on that too). Poor Mommy said her nerves are shot. But she still managed to find time to take me places, like Yappy Hour at London Dog (pictures to come). And she (with Miss Emily) started a Pug Club in Bloomington (where we live & separate from Indy Pug Meet-Up); so we've been busy with that.

So I promise that Mommy will help me get my blog going again SOON, with pictures to come as well. But I did want to let you all know that I'm still alive and am looking forward to getting caught up with all of your lives and sharing mine with you all.

MIA Time-Out

I am so sorry I've been MIA. I've been super busy helping Mommy and Daddy get ready for their wedding. I had to shed white hair all over the red carpet just to get them to vaccuum the floor, so there would be clean carpet for them to put presents on. I had to tear up some things so they could ask for some new things on their registry.

So anyways, I'm going to catch you all up on what's been going on the last couple weeks. Then I'm going back to being MIA until the wedding is over. Who knew a wedding was so much work!

So Mommy has spent several days doing an inspection of Bradford Woods. In one of the private residences she found this! A PUG! And he was a rescue! Her professionalism completely melted away. I was told that she started baby talking, was down on all fours trying to kiss him, and his owner said "Wow! No one has ever greeted him that enthusiastically before!" Get this - His name is Pooper Skittles! (have no idea where that came from and don't wanna know)

Mommy had her Bachelorette Weekend in Chicago which is where her sister (my Auntie Kati) and her best friend (my Uncle Brandon) live. They asked her what she wanted to do, and my dorky Mommy said that she wanted to go to the Harry Potter exhibit at the Museum of Science. Yes, she's a big Potter Head. Here's a picture of her in front of the flying car with her "Man of Honor" Brandon (in the pink) and his partner (my Uncle Shaun).

When they were driving home and stuck in traffic on Lakeshore, Mommy freaked out almost causing Uncle Shaun to wreck. Look! A PUG! Isn't she pretty?! (Don't tell my girlfriend Roxy I said that)

So last Saturday I did my monthly working for KPR (Kentuckiana Pug Rescue) at Bella Dog Bakery. We raised $25! And Bella Dog Bakery showed us this new ad they are going to start running - it features Pug Rescue!

Check it out! Me - a Pug, a Beagle, and a Puggle!

Here is me with the Puggle, Pugsley, with his Daddys.... Boy, my buddies Salinger and Pugsley would fit right in...hehe.

Here I am with this pretty girl Pug, Bailey, and her Mommy. Her Mommy gave me belly rubs. I really liked her.

Here's another picture of Bailey. Doesn't her "stuck on the side" tongue remind you of Clementine?

Look at this big dog that came in. I was like "whoa, you're a big feller."

Mommy made a new friend who is going to take a wedding picture of her and Daddy and draw a portrait from it, in exchange for some dog sitting. Mommy is really excited about this, because this lady has some beautiful work. And since they can't afford a photographer, a friend is taking pictures with a digital camera - so it would be nice to have a beautiful wedding portrait that they can hang in the living room. This lady is also going to draw portraits of me and Tootsie. So Mommy and Daddy are dog sitting for this lady's Pomeranians and their puppies.

Here is a picture of Gabby, the Mommy dog.

Here is a picture of Gibson, the Daddy dog. We love playing tag with each other.

Here are pictures of their babies! They were only 3 weeks old when these were taken. They had just opened their eyes. Aren't they adorable? Everytime they squeaked, I would whimper. I don't know why, but Mommy thought it was cute.

Mommy and I are going to try catching up on everyone else's blogs - but can't promise we'll make comments on them all. We're participating in the Take Your Dog to Work Day this Friday, so we'll have future pictures to share at a later date.
